What to expect... a step by step guide

FIRST STEPS

Everything starts with you and your event; Gable and Beau are our resident magic workers, I just help them come up with the fundamentals. Everything I design is done around the details & vision for your special
event- so providing insight around your day is important inspiration: flowers, colors, decor, fabric swatches, all can be helpful. Once these elements have  been determined as well as a few others such as paper preference, approximate sizes, and quantities, I can provide a preliminary quote to you.

Because no design is alike, once we have outlined your vision and agree to the initial quote, I will provide you with a total cost and time schedule. At this point, it is helpful to send me information specific to your event such as wording or images. Depending on time of year, I will have preliminary designs to you within 3-5 business days, at which point, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback and identify changes or any new additional elements you would like to add.

DESIGN APPROVAL

I will provide an additional 3-5 design changes for you to approve based on step 2. Once we have narrowed down all changes, I will provide you one final PDF for approval. I ask that you review the final PDF for any and all changes thorough; check to ensure spelling, grammar, punctuation, layout, colors, font, names, dates, phone numbers, email addresses is correct. Once you have done so, a written expression of approval is required via email and I ask for 50% of the invoice total. Once your final approval has been given, you accept responsibility for the design and typographical elements of your custom creations, which include any errors*.

*Please understand that while changes happen, Flutter Letterpress cannot be held responsible for additional reprinting & shipping costs incurred. I will work with you on an individual basis to help correct the situation as quickly as possible to maintain our time schedule, but I must charge.

FINAL STEPS

PRINTING
Once the 50% deposit has been received, it’s time to print! There is generally a lead time of about 7 business days for me to receive letterpress plates, have paper cut, envelopes ordered, etc.

Depending on the time of year, it may take anywhere from 2-3 weeks for you to receive your final product, and once complete, I will invoice you for the remaining 50% of the order.

PAYMENT
I am happy to accept Paypal or personal check.  Please let me know which method you prefer.
